Wallacespace family outing

Yesterday was our annual Wallacespace summer 'do' and we did it in (unusual) style with a tour of London in an amphibious 'duck' - one of the converted world war II vehicles that drive on land and also on the Thames. All good fun and we earned ourselves the title 'most enthusiastic tour group ever', then we went to Ping Pong dim sum restaurant on the South Bank for far more food than was strictly sensible.

One of our account managers, Lorna, proved that Wallacespace staff are always prepared for anything by pulling out a change of clothes when one of the waitresses dropped 7 bottles of Tiger Beer on her!

To come for lunch at one of our two Central London buildings, have a look around and to meet the team in these photos call us on 020 73951265, email ask@wallacespace.com or have a look at our website at http://www.wallacespace.com/

Almost famous...

We'll be having our 15 minutes of fame tomorrow evening when Wallacespace St Pancras stars in ‘Lennon Naked’ on BBC 4 (for all of about 3 seconds). This was filmed back in Nov 2009 on a very wet Sunday night. Many thanks to Jill who gave up her Sunday to sit and chat to Christopher Eccleston, tough breaks!

Happy viewing!

Can-do and Do-do!

Some more fantastic feedback, this time from the Australian company Pollinate www.pollinate.com.au:

"Delivery to expectations: way over my expectations. After 4 other markets, including some very expensive New York loft style SoHo apartment space, it is quite clear that Wallace Space can be relied upon to deliver everything you promise, on time and to a professional level that sets the bar in my opinion, for the industry on a global scale.
Client service: you have been exceptional in terms of your ‘can-do’ and your constant friendliness, smile and enthusiasm. I have not been an easy client, this has not been a project that has been at all ‘smooth’ and we only managed to confirm our booking days prior to arrival but you have been unfazed and only provided me with solutions from day 1. Big thank you.
Team: special thanks to ‘Joe the It man’ for his ‘can-do’ as well – in terms of IT and AV I appreciate how hard it is to make things work, especially with little or no notice and when you are using someone else’s equipment. Clearly Joe is cut from the same excellent client service cloth as you Anna – please pass on my thanks to Joe. Also Emma and in fact all of the team from office manager lady, your colleagues through to the café guys, all a delight to work with.
So, finally a thank you for allowing me loiter for days in the café and for feeding me – an unexpected extra pleasure!
I hope I get the opportunity to work with you all again and I’ll certainly be recommending you to everyone I know.

Keep up the good work, who knows we may all get to work together in Sydney one day!

Regards

Howard"

Feedback from IBF after their 24 hour blog...

"Just wanted to drop you a small note to say a BIG thank you for everything last week! (Apologies for the slight delay... I gave myself a little break from logging onto my IBF emails :)) Anyway, just want to let you know that the event was an amazing success and we loved being able to broadcast from Wallacespace. The ambience of your space really helped to set the mood for us and we loved it.

Please do pass on my personal thanks to Joe, Chrissy and Lorna who were on the graveyard shift!
I look forward to the opportunity to work with you all again soon.

Great feedback

Some lovely feedback from the director at Playing Hamlet (http://www.playinghamlet.com/):

"My first day experience at wallacespace was one of sheer delight.

Having trodden the boards for some years now and coming equipped to deliver my message anywhere if necessary (it usually is), I was blown by my reception at wallacespace on Thursday.
The “Yes, you’ve come to the right place” sign gave a hint of it, but you and your colleagues went out of your way to make my day a pleasure. And when I got to my room – Oh my God! Everything had been considered for the presenter who could otherwise present anywhere. Wonderful.
The Boeuf Strogannoff at lunch was to die for. Please thank the chef and team.
Other lovely touches – the well stocked loos and fridges.
Bonus touches? Corporate coffee is always gopping and I was dying for a good cup – and there was the cafetierre prepared already WITH GREAT COFFEE (which someone else had already commented on) so thank you.
Critical feedback: I give this as I know that I grow when I receive it: I was surprised there were no croissant in the cafe (and disappointed) and for those of us who like a latte, hot milk in a flask would have been good in the cafe and food stations.
Overall: Excellent! No, I mean a brilliant concept and service. Thank you.

Kind regards,

Christopher
